Past projects

Aimee comes from an extensive background in designing interior kitchens and bathrooms. Explore a selection of her most recent work below.

The Natural Project

The design concept for this open floor plan home with views of the mountains and fields was to bring color from the outdoors into the cabinetry ranging from subtle to intense shades of blues and greens. The expansive ceiling and large space invited a zone-plan for cooking, cleaning and storage while achieving balance and eye-catching moments.   The highlights of the space are the windows which meet the counter to take in the view, arched doorways to soften the rigid hood wall and the gorgeous hardware, lighting and backlit mesh cabinetry.

Turn of the Century Project

Transforming this gorgeous rural Georgian Mansion to meet the new owner’s vision was an absolute honor and pleasure. The home, completed in 1912 had undergone “improvements” through the years which detracted from the true beauty and intent of the home. Fortunately the new owners wanted to bring back the quality and design of a former era while bringing their more modern touches to reflect their family.

The kitchen truly was my favorite of all times! Every detail from a custom backsplash with a personal story, down to the marble hardware looks like a room with history even though we gutted the whole thing and started fresh.

Every room is filled with history, love and passion for things found and stories still to come.

Cozy Cottage Project

The beautiful story with this project was to remove a beloved home and build a new one to honor the past. We had hoped to restore the original home, but too much time had passed. I was honored to design the whole cottage from the ground up and collaborate with the homeowner to bring her vision to life. Every square inch has a detail to notice while feeling light, airy and connected to the outdoors with incredible views of the countryside. With an incredible team of three women, we poured love and energy into creating this home! It is available to rent as a VRBO if you want to check it out in person!

My favorite moments include the scalloped sink, carefully sculpted into a wood countertop and the “mushroom wood” that graces the hood.
